Philadelphia, PA – April 28, 2025 – At Towne Park, safety is more than a priority—it’s a mindset, a shared commitment, and a reflection of who we are. In celebration of World Day for Health & Safety at Work, we’re highlighting some of our outstanding safety champions who go above and beyond every day to lead by example, inspire their teams, and keep our people, guests, and operations protected.
Wendy Jacob – Account Manager, Sagamore Pendry Hotel (Baltimore) | Safety Champion
“Safety is a mindset. Safety is a culture. It’s the shared commitment that shapes every action and decision we make,” Wendy said. “It’s about anticipating risks and making thoughtful choices—from how we handle keys to how we move through a busy drive. Safety builds trust, creates smoother operations, and ultimately enhances the guest experience. At Towne Park, safety isn’t just something we do—it’s who we are.”
Fabian Alonso – Account Manager, Orange Coast Memorial (Los Angeles) | Safety Champion
“Our number one priority is always the safety of our associates, clients, and customers,” Fabian said. “At Orange Coast, we start strong with layered training and multiple evaluations, including a ‘Hotspot Quiz’ and driving assessments. We also meet daily for a 9am Safety Huddle to stay aligned. Safety isn’t a one-person job—it’s a team effort that happens shift after shift.”
Masiel Socarras – Account Manager, Wyndham Miami Airport | Safety Champion
“For my team and I, safety means handling every vehicle like it’s our own,” she said. “It’s about vigilance, teamwork, and leaving every guest with a lasting, positive impression. Every safe decision we make contributes to service excellence.”
Yannick Smail – Account Manager, Westin Houston Downtown | Safety Champion
“Safety means getting back home the same way you left—every shift,” Yannick said. “It’s about accountability, consistency, and sticking to the basics even when things get hectic. I encourage my teams to review site footage weekly—just 5-10 minutes can reveal patterns and opportunities. If you don’t make time to do it right the first time, how will you find time to do it right the second?”
Jamie Walters – District Manager, Nashville
“Success in valet isn’t just about moving cars—it’s about managing risk without compromising the guest experience,” Jamie explained. “Every site in our district hears about safety daily—how many days claim-free, safety focuses of the day, even photos showing both successes and breakdowns in process. We set the tone from day one and support our team in building lasting habits.”
Liam Silvagnoli – Director of Operations, Walt Disney World Swan, Dolphin, and Swan Reserve | Safety Champion
“For us, safety means upholding the highest standards of care—every car, every guest, every time,” Liam shared. “Investing in our team is the key to consistent success. Weekly evaluations and open feedback build trust and morale. When your team understands expectations and feels supported, they embrace safety as a natural part of the operation.”
Safety Is a Shared Responsibility
Whether its ensuring new team members feel confident behind the wheel or proactively reviewing site footage, these leaders prove that safety is not just a checklist—it’s the heart of excellent service.
On this World Day for Health & Safety at Work, we celebrate all our teams for their commitment to keeping Towne Park safe, smart, and service-first. Because safety isn’t something we do—it’s who we are.
